BRAZIL – Duratex was once again recognized as one of the most innovative companies in the country, through the Valor Inovação Brasil 2019 Prize.

Duratex made the Top 5 in the Construction and Decoration Materials category of the Valor ranking, and in the general classification, which also considers companies from other sectors, the company was ranked 33. This ranking is carried out by Valor Econômico, Brazil’s leading business publication.

One of the initiatives within Duratex that contributed to the company’s recognition was the launch of Duratex Garage, a partnership program with Endeavor, which supports high-growth entrepreneurs. The objective is to continue innovating and offering solutions for a better living for their clients, leaving space for ideas and projects on a large scale.

For Daniel Franco, Director of Information Technology, Innovation and Strategy of Duratex, the new companies of the Duratex Garage initiative were fundamental to optimize the internal processes of the company. “The innovation of the open culture has positively contaminated our traditional culture, with a little more entrepreneurial spirit, and the idea is that our interaction becomes recurrent,” said the executive in the innovation yearbook published by Valor Econômico.
