SPAIN – With six pavilions, two more than last year, Feria Habitat Valencia 2019 will be the largest edition in recent years. The fair, which will be held from September 17 to 20, has already sold all of its exhibition area of more than 65,000 square meters, an area 40% larger than last year’s edition.

839HABITAT2 This growth is due both to the increase in the size of the stands of the exhibitors that already attended the last edition and, especially, to the incorporation of new exhibiting companies. In this regard, to date Habitat has already registered 158 new exhibiting companies that did not participate in the last edition.

Habitat has incorporated new exhibitors in all sectors in which the fair is structured. The most dynamic one is the Contemporary sector, which brings together modern furniture, upholstery and leisure, with 65 new exhibiting companies.

This sector will be distributed along three pavilions and among the new brands of this year will be Torsan Mobel, Altacon, Mobel Yecla, T + Dos Sofas, Navarro Tapicerías, Lan Mobel, Essenzia Dormire, Karibian Rest, Mopal Upholstered, the German firm K + W Polstermöbel and Italy’s Ego.

For its part, the Design and Vanguard sector also stands out for the strong incorporation of 56 new companies with respect to the previous edition. This segment has doubled compared to 2018, with the incorporation of ‘heavyweights’ in the design as Gandia Blasco, Punt Mobles, Actiu -who returns after participating in 2017-, Casadesús, Metalarte, Akaba, Kendo, Teulat, Albiol Modular or Massmi Lighting. International companies such as Stellar Works or Brokis or ‘Made in Italy’ as Magis, Emu Group, Homes Spa, Santa Lucia Mobili or Lapalma are also new additions.

Finally, the High Decoration sector also registers a notable presence of new exhibitors. Among them the Spanish Montero Artistic Creations, Alpuch, Fejomi Creations, Moble Arts, DialmaBrow, Covet Group, Royal Design; Portuguese Antika and Aleal, and Italian Imperial Line.
