ITALY – Biesse Group is, for the second consecutive year, among the “Best Managed Companies” of Deloitte, for having distinguished itself among Italian companies for its entrepreneurial passion, skills and management skills.
The differentiating factors that characterize the companies receiving the accolade, on the basis of which Deloitte has selected the “BMC 2019” list, reflect the assets on which Biesse Group is strongly focused: product and service innovation, IoT, process automation, customer relationship management, as also demonstrated by the investments made in recent years. In addition to innovation and internationalization, which have always been the Group’s drivers, Biesse also shares with the other BMC’s an increasing focus on social responsibility, understood not only as the moral and ethical commitment of a new way of doing business, but also as an element that distinguishes it from its competitors.
The award ceremony was held at Palazzo Mezzanotte, in the prestigious headquarters of Borsa Italiana in Milan, as part of the Deloitte initiative supported by Altis Università Cattolica, Elite (the program by the London Stock Exchange Group that supports the development and growth of high potential companies) and Confindustria, and saw the presence of top management from the “excellent” companies involved, 74% of which came from the Manufacturing sector.
The selection methodology developed by Deloitte over more than 25 years at international level, is based on an assessment focused on critical success factors, with the aim of collating the best practices being used. The independent jury, made up of authoritative representatives of the Italian entrepreneurial, academic and institutional sphere, elected the best companies after having evaluated the nominations and found factors of excellence for strategy, competence and innovation, commitment and corporate culture, governance and performance, internationalization and sustainability.
