FIMMA Brazil Buyer Project will have 51 importers

BRAZIL – The mornings of the 27 and 28 March at the International Fair of Machines, Raw Materials and Accessories for the Furniture Industry (FIMMA Brazil) 2019 will be exclusively dedicated to the Buyer project.

825FIMMA There will be 51 importers, from 10 countries, who will participate in business rounds, of 20 minutes each, with 86 exhibitors. With the closing of the registration period, the next step is the organization of the agendas according to the profile of the importer and the area of interest of the exhibitor of the fair.

This year, the great novelty will be the pre-approved credit limit of 2.5 million dollars through the Exicon group, with headquarters in the Netherlands and correspondent in Brazil of the FCI Group, dedicated to commercial risk assessments for operations at term in the export and import segments. “The FIMMA Brazil 2019 is focused on increasing the volume of business of its exhibitors and that will be another tool that will help at the moment of negotiation with the importers of the Buyer Project”, explains Marcelo Haefliger, International Director of the fair.

For this 10th edition of the project, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay will be present, as target countries, some of which are already buyers of national products. The selection was made according to a methodology that foresees the analysis of innumerable indicators, including import volume of the NCMs, growth rate, competition, barriers, etc., in comparison between the potential of the countries. Haefliger explains that the Orchestra Brazil project, together with the market intelligence area of Apex Brazil, conducts an annual review of the target countries.
