AUSTRALIA – HSA Heritage, one of the largest RTA furniture importers in Australia and pacific region, announced it will be incorporating Lockdowel fastening hardware for their high-quality, ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture designs.

823LOCKDOWEL1 Lockdowel fasteners snap into routed slots so no tools are needed and assembly is quick and easy, eliminating the need of glue and dowels, screws and staples, and reduce assembly hours 60% or more. After assembly Lockdowel fasteners are invisible so there is no need for end panel cover up. Each Lockdowel fastener creates a tight joint and a finished look.

The Lockdowel Channel Lock fastening system guarantees fasteners are positioned correctly every time because precision holes and routes are pre-drilled via CNC equipment. Products built with Lockdowel hardware have been independent laboratory tested and meet all ANSI/BIFMA test standards. There is significantly less labor content, so the potential for manmade assembly error and returns is minimized.

“We wholeheartedly believe Lockdowel, tool-less, fastening is the future of RTA furniture, and we are excited to be the gateway for Lockdowel to Australia and all of Southeast Asia,” Rocky Santostefano, HSA Heritage CEO says.

“We are working hard to help our current and new factories incorporate Lockdowel hardware into their RTA furniture. Our team possesses an extensive knowledge of furniture, and we pride ourselves on the high level of quality control that we implement into all the factories we manage,” according to Santostefano.

HSA Heritage has developed and maintained strong ties with many Asian factories. Heritage’s main manufacturing location is one of the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, with more than 2,000 workers.
