U.S. – Olon Industries (Ontario, Canada) and Licar SpA (Pordenone, Italy) announced the formation of a joint venture (JV) called “OL Frontal Solutions, LLC”.

The JV will operate from Jeffersonville, IN and the plant will focus on manufacturing high volume, fully assembled 5-piece cabinet doors and drawer fronts for major customers in North America.

OL Frontal Solutions will bring to the United States LICAR’s leading edge European designs and world class manufacturing technology to complement Olon’s North American expertise in designing and manufacturing profile wrapped moldings and components for the cabinet market. Production will begin in early 2019.

It is expected the partnership will provide significant benefits including reduced lead times, lower inventory levels and improved logistics through high volume products with exceptional quality and value, due to the utilization of new state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes.
