ITALY – CSIL, the prestigious research center specialized in the global furniture industry recently published “The office furniture market in North America” (United States, Canada and Mexico), showing that this market represents one third of the global office furniture demand.
The market continued to grow strongly posting a +5% increase in 2017, following four years of uninterrupted growth.
Among the study’s findings is the United States’ USD 2 billion negative trade balance, as it is also the largest importer of office furniture in the world. On the other hand, Canada and Mexico are net exporters with a positive trade balance, which progressively improved over the last years.
