GERMANY – The Pfleiderer Group reported first half (1H) 2018 sales revenues of EUR 533.2 million, an increase of 6.5% compared to same period 2017 (EUR 506.0 million).

EBITDA increased by 5.0% in the 1H-2018 to EUR 69.4 million, EBITDA margin fell slightly to 13.0% compared to 13.1% in the 1H-2017.

In the 1H-2018 the new lacquering line at the Leutkirch, Germany plant began production of new value added products with high gloss and matt finishes. The new matt versions offer the advantages of anti fingerprint effect.

Besides the lacquering line in Leutkirch, the Group opened a new wood recycling installation in Neumarkt, Germany. The investment will allow not only boosting wood recycling capacity and reusing more wood, but also will result in higher production efficiency. These investments reached EUR 22 million.
