PORTUGAL/CHILE – Product of the joint venture between two leading companies of the engineered wood industry, Portugal’s Sonae Indústria and Chile’s Arauco, Sonae Arauco celebrates its first year as a new brand.
According to Rui Correia, CEO of Sonae Arauco, “the long-term vision remains focused on excellence to develop new decorative proposals, new finishes and other innovative solutions.”
After a year full of success, despite great challenges, Sonae Arauco – with more than 21 commercial and industrial units, around 3.000 employees and products reaching more than 75 countries – is quickly establishing itself as one of the main players in the sector, presenting a range of bold, innovative and sustainable solutions.
As the first year anniversary of the Sonae Arauco brand is reached, it continues to focus on developing better products and improving the competitiveness of its industrial units and, therefore, answering to customers’ demands. Rui Correia believes that “the consistency of the company and the brand will generate a renewed trust among customers”.
