ITALY – A record 21.6 million euros in orders at Xylexpo is evidence of the constant growth already anticipated by the results of the 2018 quarterly results, which showed a +18.2% increase in incoming orders for the wood division compared to the previous year.

The orders portfolio of the Group has also increased by 24%, reaching a value of 234 million euros, the highest in the history of the group.

In the recently held Xylexpo in Milan, Biesse had a distinguished presence that included two Xia Innovation Awards. A second place was awarded in the Tools category for the Aggregate RC60B featuring high flexibility thanks to the use of an innovative magnetic coupling. In the Panel Processing category Biesse was awarded a third place for Sophia, its innovative digital platform to monitor entire manufacturing sites, designed to optimize performance and ordinary maintenance and, through predictive algorithms, extraordinary maintenance. “The interest we receive from them drives our own growth as we search for excellent technology that can transform the manufacturing process” Prati said in closing.

The enthusiasm continues as Biesse focuses on the markets in Oceania and the United States for the next events on the schedule: AWISA in Sydney from 4 to 7 July and IWF in Atlanta from 22 to 25 August.
