ITALY – At the next Xylexpo in Milan, May 8 to 12, and under the motto “Design meets Digital” Homag will present its new machine generation.

Homag’s new high-tech solutions for the woodworking industry include storage and panel dividing technology, edge technology, surface technology, production control systems and product life cycle services.

At Xylexpo’s 26 edition the German woodworking machine manufacturer will demonstrate its technical innovations and solutions with around 20 machines that are tapio-ready and cells live in action, as well as a wide range of digital products and customized software.

Visitors will also be greeted by Homag’s new image; including a new logo, new machine design and new descriptive product names.

Homag has the commitment of making digitalization and Industry 4.0 more tangible with automation solutions, from the first autonomous workshop concept to the Smart Factory. From the high-tech cutting cell for flexible batch size 1 furniture production, to packaging; at Xylexpo, almost all components necessary for producing a piece of furniture will be live in action.
