GERMANY – The IMA Schelling Group, one of the global leaders in woodworking machinery and systems, reached the turnover threshold of EUR 250 million and launched the first joint product with the “Combi.cut 1” cutting system.

While IMA contributed EUR 170 million euros to the group turnover with 1,050 employees, Schelling generated around EUR 80 million with 500 employees. According to the company, growth at IMA was around 20 percent and at Schelling slightly lower.

The profitability of the group is also developing well and IMA operated profitably in 2017.

In order to be able to serve the growing order intake better and faster, an additional 4200 m² hall and an additional office building are currently being built at the IMA headquarters. The company bundles its activities in Lübbecke in one location in order to be able to act more efficiently.
