SPAIN – Plywood manufacturer Garnica was present at the FIMMA Maderalia trade fair with an original 64m² stand built as an open structure with their Elegance boards in eucalyptus and varnished birch finish.

Garnica also took advantage of its participation in the most important woodworking industry fair in the Iberian Peninsula to present some of its most innovative products, among them Fireshield, its flame retardant plywood, which was exposed to constant “flames” as proof of its fire resistance.

Also on display was Durable, Garnica’s solution to the demand for durable plywood products, even for outdoor applications. This board was exposed to constant water to demonstrate its resistance in the most demanding weather conditions.

In addition, the fair showcased a variety of finishes that add value to Garnica’s boards, such as high pressure laminates (HPL), coated MDO, painted (PRM), with XPS core and varnished. Likewise, a new line of digital printing and multilayered boards were presented, especially indicated for edgeband applications in decoration and furniture.

FIMMA Maderalia 2018, held from 6 to 9 February in Valencia, Spain, hosted 487 exhibitors and occupied almost 60,000 meters of exhibition surface (34% more than in the previous edition). The 36th edition of the fair also exceeded the number of visitors by 23%, receiving about 36 thousand visitors.
