JAPAN – The SlideLine M sliding door system from Hettich has won the Good Design Award 2017. As award organizer, the Japan Institute of Design Promotion grants prize winners use of the “G-Mark” symbol, one of the most prestigious design recommendations.

762HETTICH The Good Design Award “G-Mark” symbol stands for product excellence in terms of functionality and performance. Japanese consumers in particular place their trust in the “G-Mark” symbol. For them, it’s an important guide in deciding which product to buy.

SlideLine M turns plain shelf units into attractive practical items of furniture with a look that can always be varied: moving the doors from one position to another constantly creates new constellations of open and closed elements. The versatile system is suitable for all common furniture constructions.

SlideLine M was on display at the Good Design Exhibition in Tokyo from 1 to 5 November 2017. This is also where the awards were presented.
