GERMANY –Green River Panels of Thailand placed an order with Siempelkamp for the supply and installation of what will be Asia’s largest particleboard plant, which includes the first 9th generation 50.4 m ContiRoll® continuous press.

The new plant will be built close to Trang in South Thailand, the center of Thai latex production with extensive rubber-wood plantations. The order includes the entire production plant. Sicoplan, the Belgium Siempelkamp subsidiary, will provide the overall planning of the plant as the installation start is programmed for October 2018.

Scheduled to commence operation in the third quarter of 2019, the plant is designed for a daily capacity of 2,800 m³ of particleboard / MDP. With the new production site Green River Panels will double its production capacity for particleboard in order to meet the constantly growing demand of the Asian market.
