CHINA – In October, the Thai Vanachai Panel Industries Company Limited placed the twelfth order to its technology partner Siempelkamp. This order represents a renewed project within the framework of a customer relationship that has existed since the 1980s.

The order was placed directly to Siempelkamp Qingdao Machinery & Equipment Co. Ltd., the second Chinese Siempelkamp site located in the south of Shandong province.

Vanachai, one of the leading wood-based material producers in Thailand, whose roots date back to the 1940s, had recently ordered an MDF plant made by Siempelkamp in November 2016. Like the MDF plant, the currently commissioned particleboard plant will be built in the southern Thai province of Surat Thani.

“This order is not just the second within a year that Vanachai placed with us. It marks the twelfth plant that this customer has ordered from us since the 1980s,” says Henning Gloede, Managing Director of Siempelkamp Pte. Ltd. Singapore.
