SPAIN – Conexión by Finsa, the exhibition that covers the life cycle of wood and reflects on how it connects with us, has been awarded the Emporia Selection for the best assembly of an ephemeral transportable and itinerant exhibition.

758FINSA3 This exhibition designed by Rocamora Design and Architecture for Finsa traces the value chain of wood through the trades that intervene in it, discovering its connections with our living spaces. The exhibition is set up as a space open to the public that facilitates an up close and personal approach to the wood sector. Inspired by the well-known theory of 6 degrees of separation, the display is formulated in six modular structures that correspond to the six connections that connect the public with wood’s value chain: forest, factory, logistics, design, craft and the end customer.

For both Finsa and Rocamora Design and Architecture, which adds 5 awards in the last 4 years, this award is an acknowledgement by the industry. Connection by Finsa, which has already passed through the Museum of the University of Alicante, the City of Culture of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela and Valencia, will continue touring Spain and abroad for the next two years.
