SPAIN - According to data published by Anieme (Spanish National Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters), from January to June 2023 (6M-2023) Spanish furniture exports showed a growth of 6.6%, exceeding EUR 1,535 million.

France continues in its leading position with 29% of the total, with a growth of 3.8% in the first half of 2023.

After France, the European countries with the highest growth in their purchases of Spanish furniture include Portugal (+9.3%), Germany (+6.5%), Italy (+13.5%) and Belgium (+16.4%).

The United Kingdom, despite the Brexit, maintains its upward pace of growth with an increase of 13.8% between January and June 2023 compared to the first half of the previous year.

The United States, despite remaining in third place in the ranking of destinations for Spanish furniture, shows a decline of 9.8% in the first half of the year.

According to statements by ANIEME's President, Juan Carlos Muñoz, "International sales of the Spanish furniture sector continue to increase, although it is true that the pace of growth has slowed down in the first half of the year, compared to the figures recorded in previous months slowed down in the first half of the year, compared to the data recorded in previous months.
