BRAZIL (Notifix).- Brazilian furniture exports reached USD 160,4 million in the first quarter of this year compared to USD 171,3 million obtained in same period 2011. Exports
were considerably affected by lower purchases from Spain (-61%), France (-43%) and Germany (-41%). Also exports to its main market, Argentina, were down 11,3% compared to same period last year. Sales to Argentina reached USD 29.4 million (2011: USD 33.2 million). Markets with the highest growth rates in the period were Belgium (61%), Cuba (55%), Angola (31%), Venezuela (27%) and Uruguay (14%).Destino de las exportaciones brasileras de muebles
