SPAIN - On 23 and 24 April the décor paper printer Decotec presented at its showroom in Tordera (Barcelona) the new selection of decorative papers: The Mediterranean Collection.

“The Mediterranean Collection is a new luminous range of products inspired by the very heart of a nation. It is a journey to the essence of a common idea, the fusion of all that unites us; a journey toward our true identity, our rituals, the meanings of our symbols and our most-shared values. It is, ultimately, the rediscovery of the philosophy of our wisest ancestors”, explains Decotec.

The new designs of the collection are inspired by the Mediterranean Sea through three concepts: tradition, identity and fusion. The designs are based on delicate textures, organic elements and traditional fabrics that evoke the same thought: a trip to the Mediterranean traditions.

Decotec, inspired by the Mediterranean identity in constant movement, creates different fusions full of light where multiple textures are mixed, from dry stone walls to whitewashed walls. Resulting in thirteen designs: Corfu, Rusty, Delphi, Balkan Oak, Calgliari, Lido, Black Oak, French Oak, Boat Oak, Atlas, Dry Stone, Sea Salt and Thassos. The Collection becomes a space that Decotec has managed to represent in a showroom that defines the Mediterranean as an authentic “creation machine”.
