Advancements at Roseburg's New Production Plants

USA - One year after announcing a USD 700 million investment, Roseburg Forest Products reports significant progress on two new plants in Dillard, Oregon.

1082ROSEBURGThe Dillard Components plant, set to launch in late summer 2024, will produce Armorite® Trim from specialty MDF panels made at Roseburg’s Medford facility.

The second plant, Dillard MDF, will create standard and thin HDF panels for various applications using local wood residuals.

With these facilities, Roseburg will add around 120 jobs in its founding community, signaling a robust return to its roots and a boost for Southern Oregon's economy. “As we see the equipment arrive and construction move forward, it’s thrilling to watch our vision materialize,” said Tony Ramm, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing.

Founded in 1936, Roseburg Forest Products, operates 14 manufacturing plants across North America, including seven in Oregon.

Additionally, Roseburg maintains a shipping terminal in Coos Bay for exporting wood chips to Japan.
