COLOMBIA (Notifix).- With panel sales of COP 133,1 billion, corresponding to a shipped volume of 123,5 thousand m3 , Tablemac closed 2012 with record numbers. The sales level achieved by the company ranked 22% above the previous year's figures.

The company's growth outpaced the growth of the Colombian market that expanded 10% to 456,000 m3 in 2012.

This strong performance can be explained by the completion of the ramp-up process of its new MDF plant, which resulted in a noticeable increased in exports, which went from COP 6.8 billion in 2011 to COP 11.9 billion in 2012, an increase of 73.1%.

Year 2012 also marks the beginning of the strategic alliance between the Colombian panel manufacturer with Brazil’s Duratex.
